Post jam build


Post-jam build: 

Hi!

Not a big update, just a few minor fixes and features that were set aside during the jam.

The most important change: the map is now actually useful. Your drawing updates a minimap that you can refer to while driving, both in the simulation and the final race.

Also, I clamped the car’s rotation to avoid situations where a slightly raised quad mesh sends you flipping and ruins the run -_-

Gameplay

  • The map is now synced with the minimap during the simulation and the final drive, including your drawing.
  • Lowered difficulty: you now have 1 minute 30 seconds to finish the race.
  • Car rotation is clamped to prevent wild barrel rolls.
  • First hidden jump is now easier.

UI

  • You can now click anywhere on the screen to close photos.
  • Added settings for music and SFX volume.
  • In game menu for pause, settings, and quit.

Global

  • Some text changes.
  • Minor tweak to the handmade map.
  • You can now drink coffee and smoke cigarettes.
  • Added game icon.

3D

  • More consistent textures overall.
  • Changed car body.
  • Added leopard-print steering wheel.
  • Added fallen rocks to the race.
